A woman has accused a hospital in Mogadishu of demanding $4,000 from her before allowing her to collect her husband’s body.
Sahro Sheikh narrated her harrowing experience to the media on Friday.
She said her husband was one of the victims of last Saturday’s terror attack at the K-5 Junction in Mogadishu.
Sheikh added that her husband died from wounds sustained in last week’s deadly attack.
She also blamed authorities for excluding her husband from the list of people airlifted to Turkey for further treatment for injuries sustained in the K-5 Junction attack.
All along, her husband had been at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital in the nation’s capital.
