The World Bank has promised to support the ongoing economic reforms in Somalia.
This news emerged following the meeting between Dr. Abdirahman Beileh, Somalia’s Minister of Finance, and Kristina Svensson, World Bank’s Country Manager to Somalia.
Dr. Beileh and Svensson met in Mogadishu on August 25.
During their meeting, they also discussed several other issues apart from the ongoing reforms. These included the projects that World Bank is currently involved with in the East African nation.
The World Bank has been one of Somalia’s key international supporters and development partners.
