Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) reported that its officers thwarted an assassination attempt by an Al-Shabaab member, apprehending him immediately.
The suspect, who remains unnamed, allegedly targeted a businessman in Mogadishu’s Bakaro market on Tuesday.
This arrest underscores the ongoing threats posed by Al-Shabaab in Mogadishu and highlights NISA’s continued efforts to enhance security and protect civilians in the capital.
