Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre in discussions with the President of the Gates Foundation.
The Prime Minister met with Dr. Chris Elias, the Gates Foundation President, on Thursday.
Dr. Elias is the President of the Foundation’s Global Development Program based in Mogadishu.
They discussed several pivotal issues, including the eradication of polio in Somalia.
Other issues that featured prominently in their talks included food security and climate change.
Furthermore, they highlighted the Somali Transformation Program (STP).
STP is an ambitious program spearheaded by the Office of the Prime Minister.
