President Muse Bihi Abdi held a meeting with the new leadership of the Somaliland parliament in Hargeisa.
Bihi’s meeting with the parliamentary leadership took place on Sunday, August 22 at the presidential palace.
The meeting was the first between the Head of State and the House of Representatives’ new leadership.
Several top government officers in President Bihi’s administration attended the meeting. These included Mohamed Haji Adan Elmi and Said Sulub.
Elmi is the Minister of Constitutional Affairs while Sulub serves as the Minister of Livestock and Fish Development.
The parliamentary leadership included the Speaker of the Lower House and his two deputies.
