On Tuesday, President Muse Bihi Abdi of Somaliland held a meeting with one of Kenya’s most influential political leaders.
Bihi met with the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga in Nairobi on December 15.
Their meeting took place only a few hours after Bihi met President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House Nairobi.
Raila is currently working closely with Kenyatta after shaking hands and agreeing to work together in 2018 after the chaotic elections of 2017.
Bihi’s meetings with high-profile leaders in Kenya have caused anxiety across the region.
Already, Somalia has severed its diplomatic ties with Kenya accusing the East African neighbor of interfering in its internal affairs.
President Bihi met Raila at the latter’s offices in Upper Hill, Nairobi.
Later, Bihi took to Twitter to describe Raila as one of Somaliland’s greatest friends.
