DANAB forces killed seven Al-Shabaab militants during an operation that took place in Kismayo.
Sources within Somali National Army (SNA) said that the DANAB commandos killed the militants during an operation in several Kismayo villages.
The villages mentioned include Koban, Arare, Muse-Haji, and Sanguni.
During the planned security operation on February 6, the elite forces also destroyed several Al-Shabaab hideouts.
