Hassan Ali Khaire, a former Prime Minister of Somalia, has mourned the death of an iconic Warebi singer.
Abdi Ali Ba’alwan, who joined Warebi Stars in the 1960s, passed away in Germany on Wednesday, December 23.
The ex-Prime Minister mentioned that Ba’alwan passed away of COVID-19 complications.
He hailed Ba’alwan’s role in promoting art and culture around the country. Further, Khaire called Ba’alwan one of Warebi’s most popular stars ever.
