President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo presided over the closing ceremony for the elections conference in Mogadishu.
The closing ceremony took place on Saturday morning.
Farmaajo attended the ceremony together with President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland and President Ahmed Islam Madobe of Jubbaland.
Others included President Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor of Galmudug, President Mohamed Abdi Ware of HirShabelle, and President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Lafta-Gareen of Southwest.
Mayor Omar M. M. Filish of Mogadishu, who doubles as the Governor of Benadir region, was also at the closing ceremony.
All these leaders have been in Mogadishu attending the National Consultation Conference, which mostly discussed elections-related issues.
The conference was closed after successful discussions on elections.
On Thursday, leaders from the Federal Government of Somalia and Federal Member States signed an elections deal that is expected to go to the House of Representatives for approval.
