The Federation of Somali Trade Unions (FESTU) has condemned SafeLane Global for violating the rights of its workers in Mogadishu.
FESTU issued a statement on Tuesday hitting out at the organization that operates at the Aden Adde International Airport in the nation’s capital.
It called the acts committed by the company “egregious violations” of the rights of its workers.
The dispute resolution committee of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs recently found SafeLane guilty of exploiting its workers.
Specifically, it mentioned the abuses meted on a migrant female worker from Uganda.
