Somalia’s First Lady visited Mogadishu kitchens used by members of women’s associations to prepare meals for Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers.
Sahra Omar, the wife of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, visited the kitchens that are run by women’s associations in the nation’s capital.
She was in the company of Sa’dia Yasin, the Deputy Speaker of the House of the People (Lower House), when visiting the kitchens on Tuesday.
The First Lady and Deputy Speaker of the Lower House commended the women who prepare meals for the government troops.
The meals are for government troops carrying out military operations in the city and other parts of the country to eradicate terrorists.
