Five civilians lost their lives during an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in Bardale, Baay region.
The IED explosion took place on Friday, November 19.
According to local security officials, another batch of 12 people suffered injuries in the deadly attack.
The security officials said that Al-Shabaab fighters were responsible for the attack.
Al-Shabaab militants had buried the IED at a local market in the town.
