Five Killed in an IED Attack in Lower Shabelle

Five people were killed when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) hit a vehicle ferrying passengers in the Lower Shabelle region.

The incident took place on December 28.

Security sources confirmed that an infant and a woman were among the five who lost their lives when the incident occurred.

The vehicle was traveling to Dhobley, which is near Taabta when the landmine exploded and struck it on Monday evening.
