Four regional state leaders have already arrived in Mogadishu ahead of the National Consultative Council (NCC) conference.
Leaders from Puntland, Jubbaland, Galmudug, and HirShabelle states are in the nation’s capital.
President Said Abdullahi Deni (Puntland), President Alu Gudlawe (HirShabelle), and President Ahmed Islam Madobe (Jubbaland) all arrived in Mogadishu this week.
They joined their colleague from Galmudug, President Ahmed Abdikadir Qoorqoor.
Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble called the NCC Conference as a tool for discussing and preparing free, fair, and transparent elections.
