Gedo floods have left over 2,000 people marooned.
Authorities said that thousands of people are stranded and unable to leave their homes following floods that have lasted a number of days now.
A larger percentage of those marooned are in Luuq.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) confirmed the latest developments.
According to OCHA, the Jubba River has experienced a huge rise in its water levels.
