Government forces clashed with several armed robbers in Mogadishu’s Jazeera area on January 14, 2021.
Sadiq Aadan, the Spokesperson of the Somali Police Force (SPF), confirmed this news to members of the press.
During his press conference, Aadan said that the clash took place at Jazeera on Thursday.
He denied previous reports doing the rounds that the clash had been between two groups of government forces.
Nevertheless, Aadan did not provide news on the number of casualties emanating from the shocking clash.
