Guterres Slams Terrorist Attack on UN Convoy in Mogadishu

Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, has spoken out strongly against the recent attack on UN convoy in Mogadishu.

On November 25, Al-Shabaab militants launched a daring attack against a convoy transporting personnel that included UN officers.

Thursday’s attack took place just outside a school in the capital city.

While condemning the attack, Secretary General Guterres also consoled those who lost their loved ones and friends.

He wished those who were injured a speedy recovery too.

Guterres called upon authorities in the East African nation to launch investigations that bring the culprits behind the deadly attack to book.

He assured the people and government of Somalia the full support of the UN.
