Governor Ali Jeyte of Hiiraan has promised to join the fight against Al-Shabaab militants in other regions too.
The Governor of Hiiraan said this on Saturday while leading yet another offensive against the terrorists in his region.
“We will not wait for Al-Shabaab to attack us,” Governor Jeyte said.
He reiterated that his troops would not take a defensive approach against the militants who are bent on causing mayhem.
Instead, he recommends an offensive approach.
Governor Jeyte urged like-minded leaders around the country to take the fight to the terrorists instead of waiting to respond to terror attacks.
