The Ministry of Defence of Somalia has issued a statement commending the ongoing security collaboration with U.S. forces, highlighting it as a vital component of the broader mission to eradicate extremism from Somali territory.

“The Ministry of Defence extends its appreciation to our international partners and reiterates our unwavering commitment to eliminating terrorist threats from our soil,” the statement read. “This joint operation demonstrates the strength of our partnership and our mutual resolve to secure a peaceful and stable Somalia.”
