The Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu is to undergo major renovations.
On September 24, officials from Favori LLC, the company that the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) contracted to manage the airport, presented its plans for the renovation.
Favori LLC submitted its plans to Duran Farah, the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation.
According to the documents the firm presented, it intends to give the largest airport in the country a new design.
Farah welcomed the news and said that the newly rehabilitated airport would improve services delivered to travelers at the facility.
