Northern Somalia will receive moderate rainfall in the next seven days.
The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Climate Prediction and Applications Center (ICPAC) revealed this on Tuesday.
ICPAC stated that the region should experience moderate rainfall of 50-200mm between May 23-30, 2023.
Similar patterns are expected in northwestern South Sudan and Southwestern Sudan.
Residents in specific areas in central, western, and eastern Ethiopia should expect the same, as per the ICPAC announcement.
