Officials from United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) visited humanitarian partners in the Somaliland town of Borama.
The OCHA officials were in Borama on February 24.
During their tour, they discussed humanitarian needs in not only Borama but also the entire Awdal region too.
Furthermore, they evaluated the progress of ongoing response and gaps to the humanitarian needs.
OCHA promised to support families in the region who have been affected by the desert locust infestation.
