President Said Abdullahi Deni has launched Puntland’s Vision 2040.
Deni launched the regional state’s Vision 2040 in Garowe on Tuesday, January 18 in a colorful ceremony.
Several top officials from the Puntland regional administration attended the launch ceremony.
President Deni declared that the purpose of Vision 2040 is to achieve democratic institutions.
He would also reiterate his administration’s desire to embark on reforms within the security and finance sectors.
Deni also declared that Vision 2040 seeks to develop the regional state’s infrastructure and socioeconomic sectors.
According to President Deni, Vision 2040 also endeavors to make Puntland more attractive to international investors.
Additionally, through it, Puntland hopes to take a supportive role in building the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS).
