President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud chaired the National Consultative Council (NCC) meeting that kicked off in Mogadishu on Wednesday.
Leaders from the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS), Federal Member States (FMS), and Benadir Regional Administration all attended the meeting.
Participants are scheduled to discuss wide-ranging issues that include national security and debt relief measures implemented by the government.
Furthermore, the organizers of the meeting added that participants would delve into discussions revolving around agreements signed in previous NCCs.
