A security guard shot and killed a young Somali man in Galkayo.
In a shocking incident, authorities confirmed that the security guard killed the young man in Galkayo, the capital of the regional state of Galmudug on August 28.
The incident took place at one of the hotels in the city on Sunday night.
The security guard, following an altercation between the two at the hotel, shot Abdi Mahad Abdullahi Mohamed.
It is reported that the guard shot Abdi several times.
Prior to his death, Abdi had been working locally as a motorcycle operator after clearing his high school education a few months ago.
Security officers have already arrested the guard.
