SHF Helps Over 254,000 People in Somalia through Specialized Nutrition Interventions

Somalia Humanitarian Fund (SHF) has thus far helped more than 254,000 people in Somalia through specialized nutrition interventions.

SHF broke this news on August 4.

In its report, the organization expressed gratitude to its partners in Somalia and out of the country for contributing to this success.

However, it stated that more must be done.

Currently, Somalia has roughly 1.5 million children under the age of 5 who are facing acute malnutrition.

Further, around 386,000 of those are at risk of severe malnutrition.

Therefore, SHF continues to appeal to local and international partners to do more to arrest the situation before more people suffer.
