Somali National Army (SNA) forces destroyed three cars that were laden with explosives in Southern Somalia on August 9.
Military sources confirmed that the vehicles were discovered in three towns in the southern parts of the country. These were Haramka, Kunyo Barrow, and Jilib.
The vehicles were discovered and destroyed separately.
SNA partnered with its international security partners. Currently, the Somali army and its partners are conducting thorough security operations around the country.
Security is an important consideration right now when this East African nation finds itself right in the middle of an intense electioneering period.
