Somali National Army (SNA) troops foiled an attempted terror attack by Al-Shabaab in the regional state of HirShabelle.
Sources revealed that the incident took place near the forward operating base (FOB) at Hawadley.
Soldiers at the Hawadley FOB quickly responded to the attempted terror attack thus forcing the terrorists to flee on Thursday night.
The military responded to an intel report they received regarding the planned attack.
They mobilized swiftly and intercepted the threat early enough before any harm could be done by neutralizing the militants.
