The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) has warned of terrible weather that would hit Somalia soon.
Commissioner Mahaamud Moallim of SODMA announced this on Monday.
While addressing the ongoing Humanitarian Coordination Forum in Kismayo, Commissioner Moallim stated that the country should prepare for “severe” weather.
“We don’t know how severe the impending weather shall be,” Commissioner Moallim stated.
“However, we warn vulnerable population to be prepared for the worst as they are at risk of being endangered,” he concluded.
