Somali legislators have been warned over the constant lack of quorum in the federal parliament.
The Deputy Speaker of the House of the People (Lower House) issued the warning to the parliamentarians on Monday.
Deputy Speaker Abdullahi Abshirow warned those who failed to attend today’s session.
“Members of Parliament who fail to show up will no longer enjoy the same rights as their colleagues who attend the sessions,” the Deputy Speaker added.
