Somali National Armed Forces (SNAF) is to work closely with the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) to support aid efforts in areas liberated from Al-Shabaab control.
This emerged on Wednesday when Mahamuud Moallim and Gen. Ibrahim Sheikh Muhiyadin held a meeting in Mogadishu.
Moallim and Gen. Muhiyadin are the SODMA Commissioner and the Chief of Defense Forces respectively.
Specifically, they agreed on the importance of working together to ensure that aid reaches some of the most difficult places to access.
