The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has now taken complete control of the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) in Mogadishu.
The Swedish Embassy in Somalia had funded the construction, establishment, and running of NEOC.
The Somali government took over the full management of the emergency center on Saturday, December 3.
This took place a day after the government reintegrated NEOC and Somalia Disaster Management Agency (SODMA).
