Somalia’s Minister of Health has called for improved partnerships as a means for delivering universal health coverage (UHC).
Dr. Ali Hajiadam Abubakar, the health minister, said this at the Global Health for Peace meeting.
The meeting took place on Friday.
Oman and Switzerland hosted the global event, which is part of the ongoing World Health Assembly (WHA76).
In his speech, Dr. Abubakar emphasised the importance of partnerships in delivering the much-needed UHC.
He stated that such partnerships are also crucial for addressing health inequities worldwide.
