President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has announced a total war against Al-Shabaab terrorists.
The Somali President declared this when he chaired a meeting of the National Security Council (NSC) on Saturday.
NSC members agreed to conclude the first phase of the offensives against Al-Shabaab.
Phase one kicked off last year just immediately after President Mohamud assumed office after winning the presidential polls in May.
The President Mohamud-chaired NSC meeting agreed that it’s time to transition to the second phase.
