President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has arrived in Mahas district.
The President arrived in the district a few moments ago.
He has been central Somalia for the past month.
He opted to stay closer to the hotspots in the fight against Al-Shabaab around the country.
Upon arrival, the President held discussions with various groups.
First, he met with security officers as well as civil defense forces.
President Mohamud then held talks with local authorities as well as community leaders.
The President was in military attire when he landed in Mahas.
