The President of Somalia has condemned Sunday’s terrorist attack in Ankara, Turkey.
“We condemn the heinous terrorist attack launched today in Ankara,” said President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
“Somalia stands in solidarity with the people and government of Turkey in these trying times,” he added.
Mohamud called the attack “an act of evil cowardice” intended to hurt innocent lives in Turkey.
The attack, which took place near a government building, was by a couple of suicide bombers.
Reports show that both of them passed away in the explosion.
