Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud visited the man he replaced at Villa Somalia.
Mohamud visited ex-President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo in Doha, Qatar on Monday.
President Mohamud is currently in Doha on an official visit.
Mohamud briefed Farmaajo on a number of issues pertaining to Somalia and the Horn of Africa region.
The meeting is the first official one between them in over a year.
It also comes in the wake of the recent views by Farmaajo against plans to introduce a presidential system in the country’s governance.
