The Somali State in Ethiopia has announced plans to rehabilitate 30 houses owned by poor families in Jigjiga.
President Mustafe M. Omer of the Somali State visited the region to announce these plans on July 18.
He was in the company of other leaders including Tagesse Chafo, the Speaker of the Somali State’s Federal Parliament.
The President stated that his administration would mobilize and work closely with businesspeople as well as religious leaders to give poor people decent accommodation.
