Somalia Informs UNSC about Smuggling of Arms from a Neighboring Country

Somalia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Abukar Osman, raised concerns at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) meeting about the smuggling of substantial weapons into Somalia from a neighboring troop-contributing country.

While addressing the UNSC on Thursday, Osman emphasized that the Somali government is currently investigating this serious issue and plans to report its findings once the investigation is complete.
