Somalia to Strengthen Bilateral Relations with China

Somalia has announced plans to strengthen diplomatic relations and cooperation with China.

This was revealed on April 24 after a meeting between Balal Mohamed Osman and Qin Jian.

Osman is Somalia’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

On the other hand, Qin Jian is China’s Ambassador to Somalia.

The meeting between Osman and Ambassador Jian took place in Mogadishu at the minister’s office.

Osman hailed the cooperation between China and Somalia.

He affirmed his country’s commitment to strengthening the diplomatic and investment relations with China.

Jian said that China would continue respecting Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
