Somalia’s Minister of Defense has traveled to Uganda for a series of meetings and discussions with his counterparts.
Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, the defense minister, left for Uganda on Thursday, August 4.
He traveled together with the Commander of the Somali National Army (SNA) and the Director-General of the defense ministry.
While in Kampala, the minister is scheduled to hold talks with Vincent Ssempijja, who is Uganda’s Minister of Defense.
Their discussions will mostly center on strengthening military cooperation between Somalia and Uganda.
