The Prime Minister of Somalia has left the country for an official visit to Iraq.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre left Somalia on Thursday.
He will be in Iraq at the invitation of his counterpart Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani.
Barre will hold talks with key Iraqi leaders while in Baghdad.
His talks with the Iraqis will focus on bolstering bilateral ties between both nations.
They are expected to also speak on ways of enhancing cooperation in areas such as the economy and security.
