Somaliland’s Council of Cabinet met on August 6 to discuss the national budget.
President Muse Bihi Abdi chaired the 77th meeting of the cabinet ministers at the Presidential Palace on Friday morning.
Mohamed Kahin Ahmed, the Minister of Interior, briefed his colleagues on the plans his ministry and the security agencies around the country had put in place to reduce insecurity.
Liban Yusuf Osman, who currently serves as the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, briefed the cabinet on country’s profile.
Finally, Dr. Sacad Ali Shire, the country’s Minister of Finance, took the opportunity to update his colleagues on budget estimates for 2022-2024.
