The people of Somaliland have been reminded of the perils of listening to the calls for the unity of the Greater Somalia.
Saeed Sulub Mohamed issued this warning over the weekend.
Mohamed, who is the Minister of Animal Husbandry and Rural Development, said that the calls for uniting under the aegis of the Greater Somalia damage Somaliland.
He added that Somalilanders must guard the sovereignty of Somaliland.
The minister reiterated his conviction that nobody would take Somaliland for granted ever again.
Mohamed informed Somalia to stop clinging to Somaliland, as it was a different entity and state with its own constitution and laws.
