Thirty Somali Journalists Attend Humanitarian Crisis Management Training

Thirty Somali journalists are currently attending training on humanitarian crisis management.

Daud Aweis, the federal Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, opened the training officially on November 12.

The journalists attending the training are from various media houses.

Currently, Somalia is enduring one of its worst humanitarian crises.

The East African nation has suffered drought following the fifth consecutive season of failed rainfall.

The drought has created a humanitarian crisis that has seen millions of people displaced from their homes in search of relief.
