Traditional elders from Sool and Sanaag regions visited President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud at the Presidential Palace on Sunday evening.
The elders had arrived from their respective communities to discuss the ongoing situation in Las Anod.
Their visit followed that of traditional elders from Mogadishu who were in Sool and Sanaag a few days ago to discuss the deadly and unending Las Anod clashes.
The elders were under the leadership of Garaad Jamac Garaad Ismail.
He led his colleagues in discussing ways of resolving the Las Anod clashes with President Mohamud.
