UK Signs a £35 Million Partnership Agreement with FAO in Somalia

The United Kingdom has signed a £35 million partnership deal with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Somalia.

The UK Embassy in Mogadishu announced the new partnership on Thursday.

According to the UK Embassy, the money would enable FAO to support more than 1.5 million Somalis affected by climate change.

The Embassy added that the partnership is part of the £100 million dedicated to enhancing the resilience of Somalia to climate shocks.
