UNDP to Support Creation of Jobs for Youth in Benadir Region

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is ready to support the creation of jobs for youths in the Benadir region.

Deputy Governor Mohamed Ahmed Diriye of Benadir Regional Administration (BRA) welcomed this news.

He heard it first when a delegation from UNDP Somalia paid him a courtesy call at his office in Mogadishu on Wednesday.

The UNDP team discussed job creation programs for the youth with the Deputy Governor.

Other issues that featured strongly in their discussions included local councils and the ongoing stabilization plans.
