The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) handed over two police stations to Galmudug authorities.
UNOPS handed over the ownership and manning of the police stations to the leadership of the regional state of Galmudug on Sunday.
The police stations are in Dhusamareb and Galkayo.
Consequently, UNOPS has now handed over 16 stations out of the 17 that were scheduled for delivery under the Joint Police Programme.
