The development process for Somalia’s 2025-2029 National Transformation Plan (NTP) has officially kicked off in Kismayo.
Consultations regarding the NTP kicked off in Jubbaland’s administrative capital on Thursday.

He expressed hope that the plan would support the building of a comprehensive and inclusive development strategy that benefits all Somalis in the country.
This significant event marks a key step in the federal government’s efforts to strengthen the transition from external security support to national ownership.
The NTP, aimed at promoting sustainable peace and governance, will focus on several critical areas, including security, governance, justice, and economic recovery.
